Power Steering Shudder
I recently had a brake job done (complete - calipers, pads, rotors, inner / outer bearings, etc.) and when I got the truck back I noticed a shudder in the steering. I returned to the shop that did the work and they informed me that it is air in the PS system that would bleed itself out in short order. Any comments or suggestions?

Keeping in mind that I'm a babe in the woods still when it comes to workiing on my Ranger, something sounds fishy. If it drove fine, i.e. no shudder, before the brake job...common sense says its something to do with the brakes. If they were working on the brakes, I don't see how air could have gotten in your power steering system. But that's just my .02

They turned your wheels without the truck running, most likely. Just need need to bleed the air out of it. Do a search and you'll find a post on bleeding them, no tools needed. Basicly just run the truck and turn back and forth a bunch until bubbles stop coming up in the resivior.
