Idle surging
98 Ranger 2.3l Started up in the morning and engine was idling very rough. Gave it some throttle and it would surge really bad. Replaced the fuel filter as it acted like a fuel starvation issue, still the same. Anything else to do before 100s of bucks are spent towing to a mechanic. I'm not a fuel injection kind of guy so am kind of in the dark on something this new. Thanks.
