How is the assembly coming? I'm putting together a 292 as well.
BTW, I bought a degree wheel to make sure that my cam was set right. Man, I'm really glad I did that. Neither one of two timing sets couldn't get the cam anywhere near the right setting.
I ordered a double roller chain from John Mummert, it has several different keyway cuts to set the cam properly. Belately, I learned that there are offset keys to set up the original timing chain without expensive, exotic hardware.
