I have a 95 f150 302 and want to run duals from the manifolds what I am looking for is a vendor that sells the pipes the come down from the manifold and turn at the fire wall.I already have a couple of flowmaster on the shelf then I am going to run tail pipes out befor the rear wheels with some tips if any one can help that would be great
Ya like I said up there, I think you might want my system. Except now that I'm running headers soon, it'll be different. I would suggest have a good shop make your exhaust. I don't think you could get it any cheaper and most of the time companies just make crappy cat-backs and that's no fun at all. Are you going to install cats or not?
no cat I like you system I think I am going down to the local shop and ask for a price what did you pay for your system just for a idea to get me started also nice truck
well moose went out looking to see what I could get for a system and I only found one shop out of 5 that would remove the cat and run two muffler for me and said the price would be150 without the mufflers so I am going to take my 2 flowmasters and tip there on thur and have the same system as you made .What size are you exhaust tips and pipes ? Do the drown when you are cruising ?
holy 150, man I have to move to the USA. Everything is so expensive here. I paid around $650 CAD. Brutal eh? ya.
Anyways I went the safe route and bought 2.25" alluminized pipe and had them fab it up. They made crappy bends but it works. I get low end torque with the smaller pipe. I have like 4" tips that are the longest I could find. My mufflers are dynomax super turbo's, but I'm thinking about going to Purple Hornies.
These mufflers are pretty quiet on the freeway. Basically all you can hear is tire whine and I love it. The tires purrrrrr. They do bark when you tromp it. Kinda like an old muscle car. I must have an obsession with exhaust cause I am right into it.
I'm sure you'll love your setup. Cats just minimize the sound and clean the environment. They are good, but when your young like me, you want 'er loud baby.
got it put on today sounds awsome put 2 chamber flowmasters with 3"stainless tip on and 2" pipe dident think I needed any thing bigger with out the cat and a stck motor .next step is a pair of mac equal lenth headers and then it will sound just right.
