I want to run dual exhaust pipes on my 239 (255?) V8 flattie with glass packs. I've got good stock exhaust manifolds. Anybody got any leads on where to get the muffler inlet pipes to go from the manifolds to the mufflers? I'd prefer having a crossover pipe in there also, but that may be difficult to do near the engine with the stock manifolds.

This weekend I start to reassemble the 53. It has passed the maximum disassembly and dispersion point and is heading back towards a single unit!

Have you considered a custom setup from an exhaust shop? They can most generally set it up however you want with the pipes exiting on the sides or at the rear. Don't know of any "store-bought" pieces but someone may have them. 56FUN

 

Scot, I purchased a near complete dual exhaust system for my '53 from Red's Headers and had it shipped US Post to Ontario Canada. I got custom nickel plated headers for a flattie in a '53 F-100, header pipes, smithies all stainless hardware everything but tailpipes (too long for shipping). The headers look amazing and were inexpensive (under$ 150.00 I think) Do a search for Red's Headers and you can get all pricing on his site.
