Ball joints and U Joints
Hi, I have a 1995 Ranger kingcab, 4x4, 5 speed, with the 4.0
While I am in 4 wheel drive the front end clunks. I was told this is caused by bad U joints. Is this true? I was also told my upper and lower Ball joints are bad and I should replace them at the same time. My drive shaft has some play in it also. Do you think that would affect my 4 wheel drive?
My Question is what is everthing I should be replacing while I get the ball joints and u joints replaced so i make sure I have no clunking. We have bad winters here in Pa and I need to get her ready for the snow.
I wanna order my parts so I can get this stuff installed by my mechanic.
Here is what I am planning on ordering
upper and lower ball joints
all U joints in the front end
all u joints in the drive shaft
gasket for front end pumpkin and gear oil
Anything else I am missing here?
