Now it's MY turn to start a thread
Seems everyone knows someone who is an expert in every field known to man. [and woman]. The latest I heard was that the new 5speed trans was actually an Allison unit made under contract for Ford
. Now, I get fished in from time to time, but I have to ask, is this true? Did Ford concede to GM that the lightbulb might be down to around 40 watts or less? The Allison trans has been touted by others to be the best for high torque engines. Am I getting excited for nothing, or has FoMoCo finally quit trying? Or will this become another urban legend like the $300 corvette
