truck pulling left
I recently replaced the front brake pads on my 00 psd and have noticed it pulls to the left when I brake hard. I did not turn the rotors but have not had this problem with other vehicles that were done the same way. any thoughts ?

A few possibilities come to mind. Maybe the left side is braking very hard, maybe the right side is not braking, or maybe the left tire is being pushed back in the wheel well due to worn suspension parts. If you take a short drive and then feel the brakes do they seem to be at the same temperature on both sides? Remember that a caliper should "float" in the mounting bracket. A little wire brushing is sometimes necessary to get things moving again. If you did not push the caliper piston back into the caliper squarely then it may be "cocked" to one side and it will not not move. That covers some of the most likely situations that I can think of.
