Hey guys,
Suspensions aren't really my thing. I have an 86 302 V8 4X4 Auto. When i go around sharp turns i hear and feel a banging noise from the front end. Im guessing a U-Joint but im done with trial and error. Any help would be great!
I would guess u-joints as well. Do you have manual or auto hubs? It could also be your caliper banging around too. If you are unsure of what to do you may want to let someone look at it. Good luck! And Welcome to FTE!
Check to make sure your hubs aren't locked.
My 86 f-150 4x4 makes a clunking sound on dry pavement with the hubs locked when making turns.
