First off I would check your belt, but most likely its your alternator, take it into your local Ford dealership for a load test. I have seen some that work at an idle but not past 1500 rpm's.
I think the altenator for your truck runs about 300 dollars, I had the dealer replace mine before I bought the truck because the light was flashing on mine too.
