Man, 2 million post and counting, back when i joined up about 3 years or so ago the post count was around the 100,000 mark and around 35,000 users, but man did that ever change in a hurry, and a year or so ago the post count hit 1 million, but now the posts are over 2 million and counting with 230,000 members and always going up. Most sites like this barely have post counts reaching the amount of users that this site has. I think that all the users deserve a pat on the back for making such a great wonderful site to use and a huge thanks as well as a several pats on the back to the wonderful moderators and administration to keeping this site the best on the net.

If you think about it though it kinda of ironic in a way, a newbee make it 2 million posts, but we all started out that way. Now that has got me wondering, who is the oldest member (been active on this site the longest, non admin. cause ken would win there) and when was this site orginally started?

We have many who have been here from the beginning. Grover and John Niolon come to mind, there are others as well. The beginning was only with a few dozen.

 

Wow, i never would of thought that it started out with e-,ail and a dozen people. And talk about a busy site. I never really realized how busy and well known this site was.

 

Hey thanks to Ken and the rest off the FTE staff you guys do a heck of a job. I noticed the search function is back in operation. I really do enjoy that. Thanks guys 2 million thats alot of information isnt it. I wish I could read every one. If this isnt the best truck site on the internet what is. Again hats off to you guys that do the tough job off running this site. Your efforts show its the best.

I was thinking, if there are over 230,000 members...
How many are frequent visitors?
For example, how many members post more than once a week, once a month, or what have you?
I looked thru the members list and seemed as I skipped thru pages, vast majority seemed to post 0 to just a few posts.

I'm not trying to ruin the excitement.......just wondering how many of us are FTE regulars.

 

I think because of the 2 million plus posts, a lot of people take advantage of the info and find what they need then they proabably read a few others than they probably leave the site alone until they need it again, then there are the ones that get hooked and can't enough of the site.

 

You really think people get hooked on this stuff.

 

Well with people approaching approaching the 7000 mark (it seems to me that you are getting close there Mike ) But then again i shouldn't talk cause i'm on everynight for who knows how long.
