My G/F wants a louder exhaust on her 04 Ranger 4.0. I found a shop that can do dual out all 2.25 stainless with a Ravin Z-33 muffler. Can anyone give me any input on this combo?

 

It will definitely add a nice rumble. My only concern would be the cost. I think a Gibson cat-back would end up being cheaper, and louder.

 

I am looking for full stainless, where as the Gibson dual out system is aluminized. I did not get the estimate numbers back yet, but if it is less than the Borla full stainless system then I think this may be the better route. I was told by a few people that the Gibson is fairly quiet. I am looking for something that is gonna last the life of the truck, if we keep it that long.

 

I'm happy with the Magnaflow dual exhaust and it is stainless and sounds nice in my opp. Everyone that has heard it says it sounds nice and mean if I could i'd put a sound file if I had a way to record it.

 

My 98 has has a Flowmaster 40 dual 2.25 . and it's pretty loud. I bought the truck almost 5 years ago used, and it came with the truck. still working great no leaks, no rust except where they welded it and the 2 Exhaust tips I replaced about a month ago. When it does finally rust I think I'll change it for something less loud.
