That's a pure marketing falicy. They do not, by no means, last forever. I personally know many many many Honda's and Acura's that have had severe problems with very low mileage on them.
Honda, the car that sells itself.....you can't be sucked into all that marketing crapolla.
In fact, when a car blows it's motor at the track (which is about 3 times each night and ruins it for everyone else because we have to sit there and wait for them to clean it up) It is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a Jap car.......ALWAYS. And it happens 3 times a night and it's really freakin' annoying. They should keep them darn things off the track and racing on some back roads somewhere and save us ALL the headache.

i blame it on the shadetree mechanic, not the manufacturer tom. The only thing to break at sears point are domestics...grand cherokees and a probe are the only 2 ones Ive seen die.
I dont have anything against them, but i hate ricer burners...theres a difference between a ricer and an import.

How the heck did you get 233 miles with half a tank? I can't even pull that anymore since I put them damn 265/75R16's on.. I'm jealous
BTW I calculated 0-60 in 10 seconds.. Not bad..

the 4.2 fast?
why are you guys making mods to a 4.2 why not spend the money and get a 4.6 or a 5.4 at that matter. I have my 4.2 for gas mileage and get to get stuck in an inch of snow. I got my GMC Z-71 5.3 to pull it out. But the 5.3 doesnt get the mileage the 4.2 does

If you got the 4.2 for gas mileage, then you are eating your own words. The 4.6 gets similar mileage, and its a v8.
plus, you own a GM.
