Del sol? That's the smallest car on the planet, even smaller than a mini. You must be just over 4 feet tall to fit in that. How can you possibly even see over the dash board of your F150

That's insulting that you'd log onto a Ford Truck (masculine) with a Honda Del Sol user name. Obviously you like your little tin can better than your truck, otherwise you would have came up with a better username.

I think i'll drive over the next DelSol I see and crush it into the pavement

Hey, i love my truck. I love big blocks. I love v8s. I love fords mostly.

But i also appreciate hondas. I was in the scene for a short bit, worked on a quite a few hondas and other imports, and new a few people. I used to want a del sol *dearly*. Being a mechanic, I can't really stand small cars, though.

But i know a honda can sound clean, and go fast. It just depends on how you set up the exhaust. It doesn't always sound like diahrea. Believe me, i hate those fart cannons a lot. But i know a guy who used to drive a 10 second integra, no NOS, no turbo, no supercharger. All power to weight, all motor. Of course, not street-legal, but still.

I've got a coworker with a QUIET 93 civic hatchback, running high 13's on a turbo'd unbuilt 1.8L NON VTEC motor. imagine when he builds his bottom end, turns up the boost, and does some fine tuning.

My old roomate had a 00 prelude, DOHC VTEC. it sounded meaner than hell. He had his exhaust welded in at first, w/o resonator, sounded like diahrea. Put the resonator back in, got a bit quieter, but still loud, but sounded clean and mean. As soon as it hit 5000rpm, and the VTEC kicked in, it was like a jet!! shift at 8000rpm, and it's almost at VTEC again.

My other coworker, has a 11 second 93 foxbody GT, hates all these "rice rockets" Took a ride in the aforementioned turbo civic, while only pushing 3psi (runs 14.1 at that boost), and was impressed and surprised.

I drove a 91 accord about 2.5 inches off the ground for a bit when i was younger. Not a racecar, i know, but the thing went 200k with only replacing a cv joint before i sold it. I used to take it up to 125mph, floor it a few times a day, and beat the living daylights out of it. I miss it a lot.

Just my .02, im just saying, imports can be bad ***.

and off the topic, i do NOT miss my toyota tacoma. cheap truck!

Hey I don't mind jap cars either, heck I ride jap bikes, it's just that....well, uh, A Del Sol (like the new bug or a Honda Element) IS A GIRLS CAR MAN!!!!! I'd be so embarassed to be seen in one, i wouldn't even ride shotgun in one of those things. Unless Carmen Electra was driving it in a thong!!!

You guys are funny, i'm 6'1" and if the seat is all the way back, i cant push the clutch to the floor. i like my truck, the del sol is a show car.
i was just responding to the stupid import post.
i dont have anything against having a truck, you cant put a dresser in a del sol, and you cant take a corner going 100 miles an hour in a truck. or get 30-35 mpg
they both serve different purposes.
as far as f-150 running sub 14's with the V6 without a supercharger.
most arel using some kind of power adder... nos,turbo, or supercharger
you can build any motor to be fast, it doesnt matter what truck, or car you have.

Yeah....but....but Honda DOES suck, Ford DOES rule, big car CAN run over little cars, little cars DO turn faster, and big truck CAN roll over. All good factual stuff there.....ok, Honda doesn't suck (I like their motorcycles)
