My 95 F-250 Extra Cab 4x4 PSD blew a hard brake line. In removing the existing lines I found most of them to be at or near rusted out replacement time. So I want to replace all the brake lines from the master cylinder to all 4 corners. Any ideas on dealers of brake lines that make a kit for the truck, or should I plan on bending them myself???
Buy a coil of tubing, and a bunch of fittings, and go to town. The lines have to have a double flare. (If you work on your truck in NY all brake and gas line repair items are kept in stock.) The big pain will be if the bleeder screws break off. Good luck, George
I have seen a company in the back of one of the rodding magazines that makes replacement brake lines. I don't have the ad in front of me but if i find it I will post the company name and info back here.
Oh yea- I think that most brake lines use a double flare on the end. Be sure to check that out before you invest in the wrong flaring tool.

So what do you cut the lines with? I read a tubing cutter is not supposed to be used. Then there is the bending and flaring of the ends. Tools are always nice to buy but what are the costs involved? I'm also finding some tubing suppliers make kits for older trucks but not newer ones...
