I have a 1975 ford f250 and both drivelines have bad angles. the front driveline angels down below the front axle and the back one comes in to high about the rear axle and easy way to fix this. thanks for the help
You need to rotate the axle to set your pinion angle. With leafs this is done via shims between the leafs and perch and with coils this is done by extending a set of the control arms.
Jeremy is correct concerning "how" to change the angle but there is more to it than just rotating the axle. You must insure that the angle at the U-joint at the differential is equal to the angle at the U-joint near the transfercase. This requires shiming the transfer case's angle along with rotating the axle. (The nice way around this is to replace the U-joints with CV joints.) Anyway, this drive line alignment is refered to as "phasing". Not getting the phasing correct will result in viberation and premature U-joint failure.

Take care,

Correct. And if he has any body lift on the truck, then he can remove the radiator drop brackets and install spacers under his motor mounts....this will also help the driveline angle.

It won't change the driveline angle if he has a divorced t-case, which all 75 f250s came with.
The only thing he has done is lifted it 1.5" in the rear. I'm still waiting to see why he thinks the dl angle is bad in the first place and what the symptoms are.
Every stock Highboy that I have seen (including my 71 f-250 4x4) has the front axle pinion pointing down from the axle. This is due to the t-case yoke onthe front pointing slighly upward.
if you don't have vibrations or you are not eating u-joint I owuld leave it alone.
