clutch problems

I am having major problems with my clutch i recently was shifting from 4th to 3rd and slammed 1st. the clutch exploded inside. I bought a new clutch plate and new throw out bearing all ford parts. Now i pulled and put it all back in right. However i cant push the clutch all the way to the floor to much pressure and it wont slip into gear. however i pushed to hard on the pedal and the slave cylinder busted a leak. so got to replace it to but still doesnt fix the original problem/. any hints would be the bomb.

The clutch disc is turned the correct way, isn't it? It is marked "pressure plate side" and "flywheel side."

Did you change the pilot bearing while you were installing the new pressure plate and disc?

Did slamming the truck into 1st gear damage the front input shaft bearing on your transmission or the splines on the transmission?
