Is there anyone that sells a straight pipe exhaust system for the 6.0? Or do you have to custom make them?
thanks , Jeff
Easiest way is to order a Hog system from Motorhaven for the crew cab long wheel base (that is, if you have a wheelbase that is shorter) and simply use the extra piping to bypass the muffler...
If you decide to do that, let me know, I can give you a few hints that might help you out on the install.

I don't know if it will work. I have the same truck and tried to do the same thing and I didn't have enough pipe left. I was about 4 inches short (story of my life ) I figured it would work but it didn't. Well I did get the MBPR instead of the Hogg, so the muffler might be shorter and allow you to do it. But with the MBPR you can't or at least I couldn't.

I forgot to mention I was trying to bypass the cat while I was doin that. Not enough pipe for sure that way. If I can remember right I just had about 4-5" of pipe left after I was done.
You probably could have routed the exhaust in front of the rear wheel and it would have worked.
Prolly, but you wouldn't have to buy a kit for that, just get a down pipe and go to a muffler shop and have them put a small degree bend in the pipe so it will be a slow bend and won't mess with the flow. Then it would be out from underneath your frame and on the ranch that would get ripped out pretty quick.

Do you have a crew cab truck? Mine is a supercab; I deleted the cat and muffler, and had to cut off 11 inches of the pipe if I remember right...
The biggest pain in the butt for me was putting joining the two unflared pipes at the clamp; since the clamp was designed to go around a bare pipe end and a flare. I ended up wrapping one end of the pipe with some old exhaust gasket, installing the clamp, and then 2 screws on each side to make sure it didnt come off. (This was at the point where the muffler was designed to be placed, since it is flared at both ends).
