Electric Fan conversion

Any one out there ever converted to an electric fan, Is this even possible, Ive been looking into it for a few days..cant find any one who has done it. The reason when my Fan comes on I can feel the lose of power, not to mention the its pretty loud unless I have a different problem. If ayone has done this or knows where they sell a kit , I would love to hear about it. Thanks Brandon

Don't bother converting to electric. I don't know how much but look at the size of the clutch fan on the engine now. You have to match that with an electric of equal size or risk severe overheating when pulling a load or climbing a hill. That's when diesels make the most heat, and they make a lot of it. Now think about how big an alternator would have to be to keep up with that mongo sized fan. It would load up the engine just as much as the clutch fan would have.
