hood hinges

any one know of a place to find new hood hinges or to get your old ones remanufactured?

If they ever get the search feature going again do a search. There was a thread about reconditioning your hinges.

I was coming here to ask the same thing, my hood is popped up in the back. ZombieSlayer, you remember who made the post or when?

No, don't remember who or when. I do remember something about heating up the rivets, I think for removal and replacement.

You might have tried this already, but have you replaced the springs? If so, have you adjusted the mount to sit a little lower?

a few posts back

This was talked about and kinda explained but a few pics would help too. I have 1 that is popped and also I got a good 1 for a 69. pass side if you know anyone that wants it. Man i think it was heat the rivets and press them down or beat em down or something like that.

Ok this is gonna be a stupid question, but does anyone have a picture on how the springs go on? The 61 came with the springs but they were in the glovebox.
