Unhappy Intermitant Hesitation?

I recently have developed an irritating problem with my 5.4L '02 S'crew. It drives very smoothly and every once in awhile it hesitates, just an instant, but it hesitates when I'm starting up a hill or even just steady driving. I've cleaned the throttle body and changed the fuel filter. It feels like I might have gotten a tank of bad gasoline (at these prices, that sux). In the "old days" you would put a bottle of alcohol into the tank and just live with it until it decided to clear up. I bought a bottle of alcohol today and after reading the label it is 30% water. Now I don't know, but it doesn't make much sense anymore. Any suggestions would be appreciated (Sorry this got so long!)

If you think you got water in your gas and want to alcohol to absorb it, try using gas anti freeze, called "Heet". This stuff comes in a yellow bottle for 99 cents and does the same thing. Can be bought at any parts store, service station or even grocery store. If you live down south, you might have a hard time getting it.

The red HEET bottle is better. It is isopropyl alcohol, and it mixes more completely with gasoline and doesn't eat rubber parts like the yellow bottle methyl alcohol does.

Thanks, I'll try it. I've put 3 pints of Sea Foam in it so far!
