Thumbs up Newbie introduction

Hey ladies,

Just surfin around for information on rebuilding my 51 merc pickup and I found this site. Looks like it's got a wealth of information.

I bought my pickup in '95 and have driven it as a daily driver up until a little while ago. Looks like the head gasket on one side has gone, and I've been wanting to do a frame up restoration any how so I'll be hauling it into my garage soon and the fun will begin. Hope your're all ready for some pestering questions!

I think I want to keep the flathead (was thinking of fuel injecting it though - port injection). I already got talked out of putting IFS in it, so I'll just get a disc brake kit. single leaf springs I think, and the rest will pretty much be stock. Alway's looking for suggestions though.

Welcome aboard! There's a forum that fits you and your truck to a "T". Besides that, there's a ton of other forums to just plain old have some fun in. Have you also checked out your state chapter yet?

We also ask that you read the Forum Guidelines and the READ FIRST notes to make yourself familiar with the site and to make posting and finding info much easier. Thanks!
