I just dragged a 76 F150 out of a field in Alamo, Nevada. I've never worked on one before... It's gonna be interesting. I hope this site is a useful source of information.
Welcome to FTE! This site is not only filled with information and advice from hard core Ford owners, but it's even got some fun pages just to get to know each other. We also have state chapters that are growing and in need of members.
We do ask our users to read the Forum Guidelines and the READ FIRST: notes in each forum. They are very important when seeking information, posting or just surfing the site. Thanks for joining us!
Thank you! I surfed around in the area pertaining to my year. There weren't as many technical articles as I had hoped, and all seemed to be for converting something from stock to an upgrade.
I am just trying to figure out the stock requirements to get this running.
nairod, if you like you can always start your own thread. Take the basics first, from which point you would like to start, get that settled and come back for more. Those guys down there are not just mod junkies, they're down to earth and into the basics, too.
OK, thank you. That's good advice. I will see what I can do. Since I am so new at this, would I go to the section on my truck - 76 F 150 - and there would be a place to ask a question, like "how do I tell heavy duty front coil springs from normal duty front springs?" since one of mine is broken.
