4x4 PROBLEM
I put my 1990 Bronco 351 in four wheel drive to pull my farm tractor out of the mud. I locked the hubs in and put it in 4 low. The front drivers side wheel would pop then spin about an inch and then pop again this kept repeating. I drove it to work today and I can see where a small amount of grease is coming out of the hub I guess and on my rim. Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be wrong

what was the passengerside doing? if it was spinning then i would thimk this is normal. if it wasnt then you have a hub problem. factory hubs are made by warn, take them off and clean them real well and reinstall.then try and see what happens. you can replace them for less than 100$

definatly sounds like a hub problem. they could just be gummed up inside and need a good cleaning and lube. they are pretty simple desighn. or you can just replace them but id try and clean them first. just remember it could be either side that is bad so dont just clean one.
