Vacuum Amplifier?

I have no idea what a vacuum amplifier is but you could get some reserve vac. by using a canister from a mid sized truck with vac brakes. My F-600 and 700 both have some big old canisters mounted to their frames so that you still have some brakes if the engine dies.

I had to have one to pass my smog test. I went to the Ford dealer, the man said they had one left, "$85 dollars please." "Uh....I'll come back next payday".
Did some scrounging and found one at the local Pick-a-Part listed under generic vacuum switch, "that'll be $5 bucks". "OK, THANKS!"
