Stuck with points??
I have a 74' F-250... I am trying to rid myself of points so i took the distributor and coil from my 76 F-350 and put them on... Problem is.... I plugged the dist. plug into the coil plug then the wires continue along the drivers side valve cover and split into two plugs at the firewall... One of the plugs there was a home for but there is no place for the other one to go... It is a four prong round plug.... Should i have one of those silver box thingies (drivers side inner fenderwell) on my 74????
