[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Jan-03 AT 10:35 PM (EST)]Thanks Dennis! And Eric I know what you're saying, but man this thing sounds like a tornado (or twister if you prefer!) - I mean it buzzes, howls, and growls!!!
PS - I can hear it over my stereo, and I've been asked, on an occasion or two, if I was trying to cause my "ears to bleed" from my music listening habits! haha!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jan-03 AT 07:25 AM (EST)]Yes sir - stock antenna - have been leaning to the weatherstrip possibility myself - though lazy me hasn't gone over it very well though.
I have a notion about how this may have occurred ... I'll keep (those in "ICY" climates might want to stay tuned) `ya posted ...
Thanks, Glenn...
I try to remember to spray my weatherstrip and door area with a little silicone spray during winterizing in order to keep the doors from freezing shut.
Thanks for using FTE!

>-Eric, Torque1st,
Yeah I soak the weatherstrips all around my doors good w/ silicone! 1st I spray and wipe `em, then I spray the rag and wipe `em again - oh - gotta' CLEAN `em 1st! I tired of being "froze-out" years ago!
Feel free to email me if you need to. What I'm saying is to brush/spray/sprinkle some chalk dust on the weather srtipping all the way around the door, then when you close the door some of the chalk should transfer to the body were the stripping contacts, if it doesn't transfer that could be the spot were you don't have a good seal.
