87 push button 4x4 switch?
i'm buying an 87 eb that has the push button 4x4 and i was wondering if i could switch to a standard shift lever, my 88 had the lever and i felt much better knowing it was in gear, can it be switched?

thanks for the info i just bought the bronco thursday nite and don't really like the push button and i also found out it's an 88 (the man didn't know what he had when i talked to him). do you happen to know what the clicking noise is when i push the 4x4 button ? it's going into 4 wd but making a weird clicking and the headlights flicker slightly, i figured it was the solenoid pulling in the transfer case but i don't know?
