I used to put armor all on are dash but the dust kept coming on it when I thought it was suposed to keep it off cause I put on are cavalier dash all the time I don't have this problem thanks fordguy101
I usually dust the dashboard first, then wipe it down with a damp microfiber towel and a small amount of leather cleaner/conditioner or saddle soap. It looks and smells great and leaves no residue. But don't use it on the clear gauge panel, or it can cloud up.
I hate the usual protectants. They look greasy and un-natural and smell like sour milk.
The uv rays here in Colorado are quite intense, so i opted for a nice dashmat from Checker Auto Parts. Lots of colors and usually on sale at $29.95. No more dash dusting.
The main reason I don't use anything on the dashes of my vehicles is the reflection of the shiny dash on to the inside of the windshield can make it hard to see at times. Just my 2 cents worth......Mike
You might also be interested to know that some people are allergic to vinylizers (basically what Armor All is). That's what creates that cloudy mess on the inside of your windows even though you don't smoke. I never buy new cars because I want one that has already outgassed most of the vinylizers. The smell makes me quite ill -- imagine, someone who actually hates the "new car smell"!
