Smile Body and Frame attachment

Hi, I'm not really new to the site just to the older trucks, having a 64 F250. My question is i just was given a 51 F6 cab, front fenders, front grill, and hood. I have a f1 frame from a 50. I was told 48-52 used the same frame, but will the f6 body fit. I was also told the f6 fenders might be different size but it allseems to look the same as the f1. I'm new to this year of truck and would like to make it a nice little flat bed out of it if possible. The cab looks the same as well as hood. Pleasehelp steelie.

F1 to F6 is the same size. The fenders are the same size overall, but the opening for the wheels is approx 2" greater radius.

Steelie;

This may help:
Parts shared by all Models, F-1 through F-8 (including panel trucks)

Cab (except panel), doors and interior cab parts (Except speedometer and transmission covers, the trans cover will fit all models but will need to have holes closed and moved around)
Inner fender panels
Doors
Hood

Differences between 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder trucks

The battery trays mounts on opposite sides
starter solenoid mounts near batteries so they are on opposite sides too
Radiator sets closer to the front on a 6 cylinder truck
Radiator panel in the hood on a six cylinder truck also sets closer to the front of the truck and is narrower than the 8 cylinder panel

Parts specific to F-1
Front fenders
Pickup box (6 ½ foot)
Rear fenders
Tailgate

Parts shared by F-1 through F-6
Radiator support
Short running boards (With slight alteration these also fit panel trucks)
Front fenders (wheel openings are larger than the F-1
Pickup box (8 foot and wider than the F-1, wheel well protrude further into the box)<
Tailgate (wider and higher that the F-1)
Rear fenders (wheel opening is larger and is narrower that the F-1)

hey guys, don't want to throw a spanner in the works butthe f1 that we got here in aus is fitted with front gaurds that are 4" narrower looking at them front on, compared to the larger 3/4/5 ton units, which i beleive were refered to as f3/f4 etc, as i don't beleive ford would tool up specifically for down here your fenders should be the same.
