i have an 89 f-350..about a week ago my abs light and brake light came on,i had a buddy change the sensor and re-enter the code,but the lights are still on and the back brakes seem to lock up a bit when the lights come on,it dosent happen all the time its usually after driving a few miles that they seem to come on....now ive checked the brake fluid and made sure all the vacuum lines are where there supposed to be..what could be giving me this problem?? maybe a leak somewhere?? if someone could help me out id greatly appreciate it

Not trying to be a smart *** but it can be something as simple as the ABS fuse, check that its a 20 amp fuse, if its blown the light will come on, hope this does it.

 

i checked the fuse too,its kinda weird whats its doing,ive had the truck for years and never a problem...could it be i might need to change those brake shoes??
