Question Tires!!

OK, im putting a 9.5" and a 3" body lift. Would 38's be good enough or will the trcuk look funny. Like i said im getting a 2001 Ford F-150 XLT super crew 4x4.

Personally I would tend to think that it would be way too much lift. With that kind of lift, you will have all kinds of trouble with the front end....rods, joints, and very high possiblility of vibration.

IMO, this amount of lift would be better suited for a straight axel conversion rather than trying to put 38's on a 8.8 front axel.

IMO, 38's are way too much tire for a F-150 in a stock form.

It will work, but I feel that you would be better off with 6" of lift.
