Heater Problems
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-17-03 AT 10:55 AM (EST)]I had to replace the heater core on my '84 F150 and found it much easier to just remove the glove box to allow easier access - Haven't looked at my Ranger to see if this is reasonable or not, but that is where I'd start (I am 6' tall and weigh 285 lbs. At my age, crawling under the dash is a job all by itself :-) ).

Heater Problems
ok...this get more frustrating as it goes...It has been a week with this @@#$ thing! I have heat when i am sitting still. It cools the longer I drive it. Is this the doors that I have heard about by the heater core. Or would this be caused by the core itself. I really hate to change the core if it is not needed.

I think for now I have it fixed.....Flushed out the heater core really good again, and then pushed a little air through there with the air hose...and walla....HEAT.
I also raised the truck up in the front to try and get some air pockets to leave...gues what...some did escape.
