I kicked feild goals in H.S. never had the size or strength to really do much else on the field, but it was good enough for me. I got the credit I deserved, we never had anyone who could make an extra point before me for a good 10 years. I managed a few +-35 yarders in games. I also made a couple 50 yarders in practice.
I also have played hockey for years, that's my primary sport. Last year at 18 I was on a mens league and we won the league championship.
Other than that, every sports team I've ever been on has pretty much been awful.
I led our High School Marching Band to victory in the year-end Tournament of Champions my senior year of High School (I was the Drum Major)....and if anyone thinks marching band is not a sport...try speed-walking for 6 minutes across a football field holding a 20 pound piece of brass out in front of you (yeah, arms up and straight out) and forcing any breath of air you have right back out your mouth (while still trying to keep some for your lungs to breathe)....all while playing a mental game of dodgeball and dodging girls spinning wooden rifles...

Reason: kant spel
May we forever reminisce in child like wonder about the day I scored 4 touchdowns in a single game, single handedly propelling Polk High to victory against all odds.
Nope not me.. any guesses to whom it is..
Haha, my psych teacher used that same line today in class.
Im on the wrestilng team for my 2nd year. Im a sophmore and last year i wasnt very good(only won one match) but its looking up this year. Season starts like first week of november and i cant wait. Other than that i hate school sports. I am good at football but i'd probably fumble the ball and hate myself. I can hit a baseball but get bored in the feild and cant throw as good as some. So yeah i think of wrestling as my sport. Get it harder than the other guys and recieve like a quarter of the congrats from spectators but those 6 minutes on the mat are the best minutes of my day.
Honorable Mention All-State Offensive Tackle and one match away from a state qualifier in Wrestling. I'm a good size guy at 6'3" and 265 lbs, and size has always been my strong point was the captain of the football team and 2 time captain of the wrestling team. Though o-line guys don't really have stats, Coach did keep tally of who got ran behind the most, me and the guard next to me(also my cousin) got 87% of the runs our senior year. Both running backs had 1000 yrds that year. As for wrestling- I had a cumulative record of 58-14 for the only 2 years I wrestled(jr + sr-no team at school before then) and was sectional champ my senior year......

PS- Keep it up rustbucket- you are the only person you need to impress!
In high school I was on the football team, 1st srting wide reciever, 2nd string running back and 3rd string safety. I rode bulls from the time I was 14 until I was 17, I am currently 1 month away from 37 and a red belt in kaju kenpo, and an assistant instructor along with my 15 year old daughter and 10 year old son.
