I need a module for an 88 or 89 electric shift 4 wheel drive. Is there a source for these used or after market? Does anyone have one left over from an elec to manual conversion? Leave me a message if you can help. Thanks

 

If you are talking about the shift motor, my best friend bought a1989 bronco 2 and his would not shift to 4x4, used they wanted $200 plus for the motor out of a junk yard, needless to say we took the motor off and took it apart, (very easy too), the motor looked inside like it had never been used, we cleaned the brushes and stator, put back together and it has worked perfect ever since. In the ownwer's manual it neglects to tell you that you need to shift this on a dirt road at least once a week to keep everything working right.
