Can anyone tell me WHERE the axle codes are on the rear and front axles? I have looked and looked on my diff and axles, and I can't find the codes. I have a list already of the codes, so please no links to them. I got an '86 Bronco II and want to find what my gear are!

Classically Ford puts a small metal tag under one of the bolts on differential cover. If the diffs have never been apart then they should still be there unless they've been torn off. If they have been apart then it's a 50/50 chance on whether or not the person who seviced the diffs put 'em back on.
