Any Timing Secrets?

Hey does anybody know if I can bump my timing up so I can get more power out of my 5.0L? I think it might help with my minor pinging too. Right now I am running a K & N, BBK Headers and a single 3 inch with high flow cats, plus a Raven Z-33 muffler. All I am trying to do is squeeze a little more out of the motor. Thanks in advance for the help.....

If it's already pinging, advancing the timing certainly won't do anything but make it worse, provided it is spark knock. I've heard you can do 12 to 14 degrees btdc without any problems, just listen for spark knock.

Any Throttle Position Sensor Secrets?

Hey I heard that you can adjust the Voltage on the TPS in one way or another to get a few extra ponies out of the 5.0L. Is that true?

Not really. Just make sure it reads somewhere around .9V at closed throttle - measure between the signal wire (green) and the black wire on the tps, with the tps still plugged in and the key turned on.
