All right so where in the heck do I find the steering shaft that connects the colum to the gearbox?
I have checked new parts stores and no one has a listing. I have also checked three local junk yards and have come up empty. What gives?
Mine doesnt have the rag joint in it, does that make a differance?
Any original shaft for a highboy you find will most likely have both ends worn completley out from my experiences. Borgeson is definetely the way to go. broncograveyard.com has them. Make sure you tell them you have the non rag joint steering shaft. Your better off that way with a good universal joint on each end and it will be adjustable in length too. Pricey Yea, but worth it. Good Luck!!
