Okay I have recently come into possession of a 1986 Bronco II 4 cylinder all stock parts nothing added. All I want to do is lift it higher , and maybe drop a bigger engine in there , everything else checks out okay. Any suggestions on what I can do to this , limited budget , but huge enthusiam. Also is there like a Mechanical terms for Dummies book out I can read .

Marvin, I didn't realize that the Bronco II came stock with a 2.3L 4 popper. If you really have one, I would stick with it and just add parts to make it better. There is a lot you can do to gain horsepower from this engine, cams, exhaust, intake mods, etc. www.racerwalsh.com has stuff to make the 2.3 a real screamer.
