While driving the other day, my brakes decided to go on strike. Pedal went right to the floor and had to pump them to get it to a stop. Ford is saying that it is the ECU (2004 F-150) Anyone ever hear of this? there are wires going into the MC, but since when does the ECU control the brakes? If the ECU is F'd up, doesn't it affect the whole truck? Meanwhile my truck is sitting at a dealer 20 miles away.
Not even my dealer.
keep us posted
but it could be worse, last week i watched this 04-F150
peel out of a gas station with a full tank. i was behind him and
i listened to him complain about prices. any how he fish-tailed and when the truck snapped straight the gas tank let loose. skipped across 4 lanes of opposing traffic and no body hit the tank as it bounced across the road!
