Pioneer MP3 player
I have a E150 - 2002.
I just acquired a Pioneer MP3 player out of a Ranger pickup.
The multi-pin connector in the wiring harness works fine, but there is a 4 pin connection on the back of the Pioneer unit that has no matching harness connection.
When I power up the truck, the player is dead, which makes me think that the unconnected 4 pin connection is for power input.
Anyone have an idea if this is correct or not?

I believe the 4 pin is ignition, 12v, ground, and illumination maybe. I think a wiring harness would have everything you need, but if not, you can look up the wiring diagrams with the wire colors for your vehicle, and splice into the Pioneer wires, and twist, solder and elec. tape them.
