Red face Why are you here...

And how did you get here?

I'm here because I wanna be.

I found FTE on Sept. 19th. 2003 when I was looking for some quick fix info for my F-150. I quickly posted my question & recieved my answer.

I choose to stay longer to read the forums & possibly learn something. I got a good laugh out of the PP. I originally never posted in these upper forums, I stayed down below trying to help people with tech info.

I finnaly wandered up here & started posting. I realized I can annoy more people here & thought my services could come in handy so I stayed.

I still go down in the other forums but not as much as I used to.

I found this place late in 2002 i think, I had been a part of off-road forums , someone had mentioned this place, so I checked it out. Realized there was very many very knowledgable people, so I joined in jan 2003. Ever since ive been annoying the 73-79 and FE boards with my questions. Everything I know i learned from here and steve christ's book.
Great place.

Oh yeah, and i spend 95% ofmy hometime on here as well. Sad, but true.

I found this site a few years ago. I didnt post right away, I just watched from the "outside" and learned alot. Then I began posting a little over a year ago on my former name, fordguyatou, then something happened to that screenname and I was no longer able to post. So I started this screenname and have been raising cane since!!

I had the infamous dome light problem that Rangers have. Instead of $120 to fix I only had to spray in some WD-40. I figured I owed the site that saved me money so I became a Club FTE member a few days after I found the site.

I found FTE when I was searching for a belt for my 95 F150 about 3 1/2 years ago. Looked in here from time to time and when I decided to buy my new truck I came asking a few questions and found Jeff Clark and the FTE purchase program. Technology...what a wonderful thing

I saw a shimmering light........FTE? I was thinking to myself, this could be Heaven or this could be Hell. Welcome to FTE, such a lovely place. Any year, you can find it here. And still those voices are calling from far away, wake you up in the middle of the night, just to hear them say, they haven't made that motor since 1969. Last thing I remember,I was running for the door. Relax said the man.You can check out any time you like,But you can never leave FTE.

I'm here because I'm doing my thesis on the underwear habits of Ford Truck Owners. Seems there's a relationship between boxers and tighty-whiteys and the proportion of Bronco owners. Will let you know what I find.

Seriously, I was looking for info on fixing the gauges in my truck through google and found this site. Got addicted and can't find the cure.

Mine was same reason as maticuno. I had a 96 ranger with the dome light problem. Then would stop in every once in a while and see what was bein said about 96 rangers that i might be interested in. Then I got my 2004 F-150 and i was soooo very happy bout getting it that i came in here and started posting regularly, as regularly as i can anyways. And havent stopped coming since.

Joined back in 2002, due to a new truck I bought back then (the 2002 F-350). I just accidently hit ford-trucks.com in my seach engine, and it bought me here. I've been here ever since Great people, treat you like family. I come here at least 3 times a day, . . . . . yes, its an addiction
