i like it up here because i love to give my opinion and no one can interrupt me!
I had just gotten back into the car business, and I was unsure how to get into the Ford dealer website (you gotta show me this stuff more than once...). So, I went to Yahoo! search and typed in "ford trucks." Guess what came up first. Hint: it wasn't the Ford dealer website.
I found the forums, particularly the New Truck Buyer Forum (as it was then called). I started going thru the threads, reading the posts, and I just couldn't believe the misinformation that people here were having to put up with (car dealers!
). I started answering questions, and nearly 3 years later......The greater question should be: why do we REMAIN here? Neither of us have the time for all my reasons, but they are many. And yes, it really does go beyond the trucks (and so far, one 2005 Mustang
And you'll get to meet all these wonderful people next summer, at the 2005 FTE Chapter National Meet. All I need to know is when and where, and my bags are packed. Please, if there's any way you can make it, I urge you to be there. I've already talked to Ken, and already there's some really neat stuff planned. You will not be disappointed, but it takes PEOPLE to make it happen. See you all in 2005! (Can you tell I'm pumped?

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
havent really got any help, just made senseless useless and vulgar post, like "have u ever farted in a public place" it got deleted and i got banned for like a week or was it to weeks oweel, but i forgot about the site until me and a friend pulled the ol truck up to my house, was setting in my field, and i got it running
This place is filled with great people, with lot's of knowledge and gettin not only one right answer usally, I get several from different POV and experiances.
And out of aolt of the forums, this one is so outstandingly easy to navigate, and I like that even sometime tempers get a little warm, I dont have to wade through post after post of vulgar language when adults start acting like young teen's.

I previously worked as a contractor at the place where non-petrol burning engines are built. Don't need to say more about that. I no longer work there and it's doubtful I'll be asked to go back.
Now I'm looking for a truck, was looking at Ranger but it's insurance is as much as a Mustang. New F-250 SD with 6.0 is out of my price range but I am looking into pre-2002 7.3s as they seem to be coming down in price.
