4" DP with reducer?
A couple weeks ago, I cut out the muffler on my 2000 (there was no cat). I like the sound of the turbo but at times the exaust noise gets to me. Anyhow tonight I installed a 4" down pipe and used a 4" to 3.5" reducer (didnt have the cash to finish the job all the way through yet) well after finishing up, I took it for a drive. Well as it turns out the turbo sound is there and maybe more of it and the flutter of the exaust sound now seems WAY less noticable as does the acctual volume of the exaust. Does anyone have any reasons why this might be. Im not complaining, I think it sounds great and I seem to have more power now. Just wondering.
