egr question
i have a 79 f250 4x4 with a 351m and i changed the carb and intake to an edelbrock rpm intake and edelbrock carb the question is will it work without problems wothout adding the edelbrock egr carb plate under the carb hope you understand what i'm asking

In a word, yes. The EGR allows you to run a leaner A/F mixture and more advanced timing. You may have to adjust (enrich) the A/F mixture and (retard) ignition timing to prevent pinging without the EGR.
