Motor change
Depends weather its a 4wheel drive ranger or not if it isnt no it wont the motor will but the tranny doesnt have the transfer case...hense you hafta get the longer driveshaft to, tail shafts might be different also i had an 1989 bronco 2 put an 1986 ranger motor in it, bolted up perfect...(well some cursing is in order there aint much room !!) had to change the intake off the 1989 2.9L to the 1986..but other then that everything was the same...84 to an 85 should be the same...but im not certian
