Getting the WAVE
Ok I just moved from MA. to RI. about 5 months ago. Since I've moved here I've seen a good amount of Xs on the road. Probably more so then when I lived in Ma. Almost all the ones I pass, give me the wave. This morning it was a pretty blonde that waved at me. Now I've owned a vette and I know thats what us vette owners do to each other. Is this common for Xs and I never heard of this treand before or is this just my good looks. (kidding). has anyone experiensed this. Is this a new trend we can start. If it's not something anyone else has experiensed I VOTE we start this trend.

I think thats a good idea too. 
Some drivers in my area have waved at me too. (Ford Pride, what can I say? 
) Whenever I see a Super Duty or Excursion owner, I almost always give a friendly nod and a smile. To me it's all about pride in your ride.......

your post made me smile.. As a recent owner of a 71' vette, I know the drill. It was a habit even my kids adopted when riding with me... they always were on the look-out for another vette and began waving well in advance.. Their hands raised thru the T-tops hoping for a wave in return
Since the X is a special class of vehicle, I began to wave to the few others I see. I think the fact that I sold the vette to buy the X has something to do with it...
So far, 2 dirty looks and 3 return waves... 3 outta 5 ain't bad...

I always wave at other SD and Excursion drivers when ever I see 'em driving around on the Cape!!! (Cape Cod, MA.) Ford pride is right!

Update!
The SD and X owners in my area, are a little reluctant, but it's picking up.
Alot of the SD owners I saw waved back and even smiled, others just gave me the "what's his malfunction?" look.
The X owners.....well......need a little time and getting used to..... They aren't as friendly as the SD owners....
But so far, so good.
How about the rest of ya's?
