Weird turn signal problems

Last night after work I started up the Bronco to go home. As it was warming up, I decided to check the rear lights for any burnt bulbs etc. Brake lights worked fine, left turn signal worked fine. When I turned on the right turn signal, something weird happened. The right blinker would work, but both reverse lights, and both license plate lights would blink in unison as well. Way too weird a thing for me to wrap my head around, I was hoping that any of you would have any suggestions as to the cause, and solutions.

Thanks all,

-Matt

Sounds like a wiring problem either at the tail light on the side in question or perhaps water in a trailer connection. Almost like the power is leaking back down a ground or between frayed wires.
