King's choice! You'll get proponents of both, but if memory serves, the majority here opted for LineX. I'm sure they're both good, but like any other competing products, some will have had good experiences, some will have had poor experiences, so who's really to say?

Shop them both, compare reviews and price, warranties, etc... get your best deal. If you have dealers of both nearby, pit them against eachother! Ah yes, good ol' American bartering...

Thumbs up

I just had Line-X put in mine. Excellent workmanship- they removed the tie downs, gate access panel, and bed bolts before spraying, then reattached. It has a clean factory look. It is very rugged and slip resistant. I highly recommend.

I agree completely with Captain Scott. My 05 250 long bed was sprayed yesterday prior to delivery. The Line-X guys did a superb job. All bolts and screws and tie-downs removed prior to spraying and re-assembled after. Looks fantastic! I went with Line-X after the many recommendations on this site and from friends. The color and texture is perfect. My dealer tried to talk me into going with some brand I never heard of. They probably had better margins on that. I insited on Line-X. It looks so much better than the trucks on the lot with the nameless brand. Good luck with whatever you get. Hope you end up as pleased as I am.

Exclamation They are both good...

I prefer the LINE-X over the RHINOLINER, due to the people who is installing them. THe guy in our town, who does the RHINO doesn't take out the bolts, tie-downs, etc. plus he oversprays. In the end, it just doesn't look good....

Line x is much better. I have done my last 4 trucks with it. only 1 had rino-dung. Use your finger nail and press it into the liner. A strong nail can easly dig out and remove a chunk of Rino. Line-X will remove your finger nail.

--A strong nail can easly dig out and remove a chunk of Rino
ive thrown countless cinderblocks, firewood, lumber, ladders, jacks, etc in the back of my rhino and have yet to remove a chunk.

the man installing it will take out whatever you want him to before he sprays it. i had the rhino guy remove the tie downs and bolts to the latch cover before he sprayed it but leave the bed bolts, because honestly, how often is a bed taken off of a normal truck. they are both good liners, the quality has nothing to do with either product, but who is installing them.

I've never tried Line-X, so I can't comment on it. I've got a Rhino lining in my
03 F-150. I've carried all sorts of things in the bed such as jacks, lumber, ladders, firewood, boats etc. and have found it to be quite tough and durable. I suppose the only downside was that the bolts weren't removed but other than that I am quite satisfied. Maybe on my next truck I may give Line-X a try.

Price?

What did ya'll pay for your trucks to be sprayed? I have the plastic bed liner, which isnt bad for me, but I like the Spray-In liners and the reviews they get.

ArmorThane - $400, they took of the bed bolts, tie downs, and gate access panels before spraying and reinstalled after.
