where to power pyro
wel, my Autometer Lunar series pyro has been in for a week or so now, and it works great, except for that i powered it from my stereo....this poses a problem cause i like to drive with the windows down and stereo cranked. but when i crank it, the gauge looses power with the bassw coming form the stereo. what else in my truck can i power the guage from that comes on when the truck does? its a '95 reg cab.

I use something like THIS (scroll down to the Wirthco Tapa) to tap into an existing circuit. It leaves the original circuit separate and fused and adds another circuit with its own separate fuse. I get mine at AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts so you should be able to find one near you at a decent parts house. All you have to do is find a circuit that is on with the key only and you are all set.
